Dr. Ameya Rangnekar - Spine Specialist in Indore
Dr Ameya Rangnekar, one of the best spine specialist in Indore, was born & brought up in Madhya Pradesh and came from a family of doctors who had an immense interest in medical science right from childhood.
His journey in the medical field began with an outstanding academic record. He was in the top district merit list in the 10th CBSE board from St. Joseph’s Convent School, Ratlam.
He was selected into MBBS on the first attempt itself with completion of 12th boards from DAV school Kota. During MBBS he received a Gold Medal in Biochemistry from Devi Ahilya University, Indore.
Dr Rangnekar further honed his skills by DNB in Orthopaedic Surgery from Choithram Hospital, Indore under the National Board of Education, New Delhi. His interest in spine surgery from the beginning turned him towards a fellowship in Spine Surgery.
He was trained in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery at premiere institutions like Lilavati Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, Saifee Hospital, and Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
He further finished his fellowship in endoscopic spine surgery at Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Ambedkar Railway Hospital, Byculla. After that, he travelled to the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre in New Delhi for further training. Having completed his fellowship in India, Dr Rangnekar travelled to Klinikum rechts der Isar, Munich in Germany for Navigation and Robotic Spine surgery training.
Dr Rangnekar has a huge interest in academics and has 10+ publications in national as well as international journals and is routinely a presenter at spine conferences.

Dr. Rangnekar is actively involved in teaching and research. His research work includes numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Notably, he has published articles on minimally invasive spine surgery and presented papers on various spine-related topics, contributing significantly to the field’s body of knowledge.
